At AMICO the safety of our customers is our utmost priority. Our line of safety grating products offer an excellent solution for non-slip walkways. These products are specially designed one-piece cold-formed metal products to be utilized for sheet flooring. AMICO’s safety grating products provide excellent traction and slip-resistant surfaces to minimize the chances of slipping or accidents. These products allow for the drainage of oil, water, and small pieces of debris through specially designed grip patterns which are designed to provide enhanced grip and stability.

Designed to deliver a durable surface with excellent traction, our safety grating products are specifically designed to cater to your safety needs. Their lightweight design helps provide a superior strength-to-weight ratio and the use of holes provides strong friction to allow for better grip and stability. The orientation of the panels creates two different designs, channeled and walkway. The metal walkway has a unique built-in Kick plate or toe-board. These safety features help ensure our customers’ safety and security, thus providing them with a safer alternative to traditional industrial flooring. Each walking surface integrates diamond-shaped dimples, expanded metal or debossed holes and traction buttons to form a slip-free surface and provide an improved and stronger grip.

Diamond-Grip® Channel

Diamond-Grip® Channel is a metal safety grating built by cold-forming in the shape of a channel. The serrated round edges and the diamond-shaped dimples provide better grip in extremely slippery conditions, such as grease, oil, water, and snow.

Diamond-Grip® Walkway

Diamond-Grip® Walkway is a one piece metal safety grating product that is manufactured by a cold forming process in the shape of an inverted channel. The web of the channel is the walking surface and has rough serrated edges around diamond shaped openings. The built-in toeboard provides support for the load and the lightweight design provides a high strength to weight ratio.

Safety-Tread® Ladder Rungs

These ladder rungs are small channel-shaped sections and are ideal for retrofit applications and existing ladders. These rungs can also be used for ladders in concert with existing grating.

Safety-Grip® Channel

Safety-Grip® Channel is a one piece metal safety grating manufactured by a cold forming process in the shape of a channel. The extensive web of the channel is the walking surface with large debossed holes to ensure maximum slip resistance and drainage of debris and liquids.

Safety-Grip® Walkway

The large debossed holes and the smaller traction buttons make this product an excellent surface for walking. They allow for maximum drainage and up to 50% of free air opening.

Safety-Tread® Stair Treads

Stair Treads are one of the top requested accessories to accompany our grating and are fabricated from AMICO’s standard grip channel metal planks. These treads are great for staircases, as they provide superior grip and minimize the possibility of slippages.

Safety-Tread® Channel

This one-piece web-based channel consists of perforated dimples that provide superior grip due to the considerable quantity of dimples under the foot. These small perforated safety gratings are preferred for surfaces because they are easy and comfortable to walk on.

Safety-Tread® Flooring

Safety-Tread® is a metal flooring product covered with small raised perforated dimples that provide enhanced grip and are ideally suited for industrial use.
