Expanded Mesh and perforated metal can be used as a sculptural medium for a façade to build volume, form & mass, while also covering utilitarian elements that may be undesirable
The top example here shows how expanded mesh was used to cover and bring distinct form to utilitarian stadium elements. Below that on the left is a great interior application where perforated metal was used to create a design element to support strip lights and bring a focal point to the space.
